A clear path to feeling great again
Core Values of Care
An Integrative Approach
It’s my mission to empower you with the knowledge and collective wisdom to create health yourself, no matter where you are right now. We will embark on an integrative approach to your wellness, drawing from the best of both Eastern and Western medicine – including smart lifestyle changes that will improve your health and symptoms.
Innovative Treatments
Did you know that it takes on average 17 years for clinical breakthroughs to make their way into the standard of care? I aim to shorten that lag time. As a lifelong learner, I’m continuously seeking innovative, out-of-the-box ideas to help you achieve your health goals.
Dedicated Attention
You’ll receive dedicated attention from me. During your initial consultation, we will chart the course for your personalized treatment plan. Then once you complete your first follow up visit, you’ll have an opportunity to join as a member for my continued support including messaging in the patient portal, community support, and VIP access to special resources and events.
Root Cause Resolution
Unlike traditional doctors, I always focus on root cause resolution – isolating the key imbalance that is responsible for symptoms you’re experiencing right now. I seek to give you solutions, not more bandaids to cover up the symptoms (or treat side effects of drugs with even more drugs).
Personalized Care
No patient is exactly the same, and yet there are 9 factors that affect your health. We will look at these 9 factors in depth to get to the root cause of your dis-ease. We’ll explore your situation holistically, uncovering mediators in your home, at work, and mental state to arrive at a “lifestyle prescription” that puts you back on the road to health. It’s time to take your life back!
Co-Creating Health
You weren’t designed to be alone. You belong in community! Your desired health outcome is much easier to achieve through the power of being with others in community. The Canfield Integrative M.D. membership leverages group structures for patient education, peer-to-peer support, and accountability.
What the Process Looks Like
1
Discovery Call
A free 15-minute call to discover how I can help you take control of your health. You can schedule your first visit while you’re on the phone!
2
Initial Consultation
Either a 30 or 60 minute initial consultation to dive into your history and your pain points. I can help you decide which one would be best for you!
3
Follow Up Visits
Follow up visits in either 30 or 60 minute intervals. You and I decide together how often you need to follow up based on your individual situation.

Yes. I specialize in weight optimization programs with or without the use of GLP-1s (i.e. Wegovy/semaglutide and Mounjaro/tirzepatide). My program takes a deep dive into your metabolism with blood work and hormone testing and a body composition test (via an InBody) then we decide together the best course forward. I have prescribed GLP-1s as a primary care provider for many years. I have been prescribing these for medical weight loss for over a year and my patients have excellent results because I see you every month along with a body composition test (InBody). Lifestyle and diet healthy habits are established so when it is time to come off of the medications, your metabolism is able to maintain itself. If I do not think you are a good candidate for the GLP-1s, then I do not recommend them.
The initial Weight Optimization visit is 30 minutes and $200.
